Shalaka Gadekar is a law graduate and has done a post graduate certificate programme from XLRI, Jamshedpur and has over 20 years of professional experience. Her last assignment was that of Chief Human Capital for Future Generali. She has also been a part of Centurion Bank of Punjab, IDBI Bank, and Societe Generali as head of HR.

Prominent among the activities handled by her are -

• Handling HR for organisations in their growth and start up phases by recruiting management and employee talent and setting up the HR infrastructure and team

• Setting up and constantly reviewing the HR processes along with Policies to make them scalable with well defined TAT's and controls

• Leading the HR teams as part of much publicized as well appreciated mergers in the banking space

• Enhancing employees engagement by helping organisations articulate their vision , culture and disseminating the same through consistent employee communication

• Putting in place the competency mapping and assessment centre methodology to identify and nurture talent
